I’m just floored. I didn’t think this thing could surprise nor gall me more than it already had. I stand corrected.

Wow! Absolutely awesome article. Interesting fact about the Erlanger Hospital in Hamilton County, TN where one of the maternal deaths occurred. It is and has been a government hospital for decades (where transparency is greater) but is moving into being privatized as a 501(c)(3) entity where transparency will be NIL. Government entities are subjected to Freedom of Information requests. 501(c)(3)? No. My position has always been this is why they are moving to this "nonprofit" status. The war on mothers imploded over the last 3 years. Psychopaths at the helm.

You have to go very dark to imagine that something like this is deliberate. I am not there to imagine a coordinated campaign.

However, you do raise an interesting point and that is the non reciprocity of unverifiable information.

We all have heard of trust but verify. But in this case that’s not possible because of the privacy shield due to pregnancy. And the same as with kids.

Could these be traffic accidents or over doses or suicides or were they even ventilated? You can’t even prove they existed.

So this devastating heart wrenching information is prevented without refutation.

Though far from a millennial, one of my favorite millennial phrases is “Pics or it didn’t happen”.

If the information is hidden by a privacy shield it should not be used in a public health context.
